About me
I am a rising junior studying multimedia journalism at Virginia Tech with a minor in philosophy, politics, and economics. My expected graduation is May 2025.
Most of my experience thus far has been in broadcast journalism; I started as an anchor with Virginia Tech Television's news program Tech Tonight in my first year and was the producer for Tech Tonight my sophomore year. I will be continuing with VTTV in my junior year as general manager.
This summer I had the opportunity to be a news intern with WHTM - abc27 in my hometown of Harrisburg, P.A. During the internship I worked alongside award-winning journalists to gather content broadcasted on the show. As an intern, I was allowed to use the content to create my own sample work featured in this portfolio.
I believed I could and I would. And I did.
